Why no SSI payment in some months?

A blank calendar month does not mean SSI skipped you. That month’s benefit was usually deposited early in the previous month.

How “missing” months happen

Example pattern: if September 1 is Labor Day (Monday), August’s calendar can show two deposits and September’s calendar shows none — the September benefit paid on the Friday before Labor Day (still in August). Your entitlement for September was paid; it just landed early.
