Reserve drill pay
A common planning rule: one drill day ≈ 1/30 of monthly basic pay for the member’s grade and longevity. A typical inactive-duty training weekend is four drills.
Rule of thumb
Drill pay is derived from the same basic pay tables as active duty. Exact entitlements, IDT codes, and special pays can vary — use DFAS and your unit finance office for official figures.
